Editorial Process

InsectoGuide is operated by SIA Digital Publisher. The editorial goal is to publish practical insect identification, pest-control, and field-guide content that is useful to readers and clear about its limits.

How pages are researched

Writers and editors prioritize public sources such as university extension offices, government agencies, pest-management guidance, entomology references, product labels, and manufacturer documentation. Safety-sensitive claims should be tied to an authoritative source or softened when evidence is limited.

How pages are edited

Drafts are reviewed for search intent, factual consistency, reader usefulness, affiliate disclosure placement, and visible source links. AI-assisted drafting or production tools may be used, but pages should be edited by a human before publication.

Product and affiliate content

Commercial pages should explain why a product type is useful, what tradeoffs matter, and when a non-product action is safer or more effective. Affiliate links must not replace label directions, safety guidance, or professional judgment.

Corrections and updates

If a page contains an error or outdated guidance, readers can contact the publisher through the Contact page. Material updates should be reflected in the page content and, where possible, in the modified date.
